Learn how the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office can help with your BAD Buildings!

Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Abandoned properties or those that need rehabilitation can be found throughout the state in all communities. The West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office administers several programs that can help with your abandoned properties issues. Staff from the State Historic Preservation Office will introduce programs including:

  • National Register of Historic Places,
  • Rehabilitation Tax Credits,
  • Development Grant funds, as well as the
  • Section 106 Review process.

These programs can be utilized in the identification of historic structures and be helpful in the redevelopment of properties throughout the state.
