WVU Shale Gas Network Kick-off & Forum, April 25

The NRCCE and the Office of Research announce the kick-off event of the WVU Shale Gas Network, Friday, April 25, 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, in the Barnette Room, Erickson Alumni Center. Modeled after NRCCE's Holiday Open House, the forum kick-off will feature a presentation by collaborators WVWRI Director Paul Ziemkiewicz and School of Public Health Chair of Occupational and Environmental Health Michael McCawley about their research on the environmental impacts of shale gas development followed by a wine-and-cheese poster session including posters from Wesley Burnette, Shikha Sharma, and others in the elegant Kennedy Club Room. The Network seeks to promote informal opportunities for WVU faculty, research staff, and graduate students interested in shale gas issues to meet, share ideas, develop new ideas, and plug into what's happening in shale gas research and scholarly work at WVU. All disciplines are welcome. For a working agenda and to RSVP, go to: http://www.eventbrite.com/e/wvu-shale-gas-network-kick-off-forum-tickets-11311074729
