Morgantown, W.Va. — The Department of Transportation and Parking is asking for the cooperation of all WVU employees with Move-In and Welcome Week activities. Parents will be looking for parking to assist their students with Move-In beginning Friday (Aug. 12). As a result, employee parking areas around residence halls may become congested.

Also, expect increased traffic on campus and around town. Maiden Lane will have limited parking available during Move-In activities. Additionally, parking will be limited in many areas near Welcome Week activities on Evansdale Campus, so you are encouraged to use alternative transportation if possible. The PRT will be operating until 10:15 p.m. each night. Faculty, staff and students may ride the PRT for free or Mountain Line Transit bus service with a valid WVU I.D.

Check the link above or follow the Department of Transportation and Parking on Twitter and Facebook @WVUDOT for more information and updates. Details about Welcome Week are available at welcomeweek.wvu.edu.
