Morgantown, W.Va. —  People from around the state are joining hearts and hands to help the flood victims and the towns in southern West Virginia that were decimated by the recent floods.

Our organization thanks Carrie Staton and the West Virginia Water Research Institute staff for contributing to this effort.  Carrie requested help from WRI and together the group donated supplies valued at $225 to be added to WVU’s relief efforts.

The West Virginia Water Research Institute, a program of the National Research Center for Coal and Energy at West Virginia University, serves as a statewide vehicle for performing research related to water issues. WVWRI is the premiere water research center in West Virginia and, within selected fields, an international leader.
